Music- I play from 6:00 till 6:45, my mix of originals and unexpected hidden nuggets from unlikely sources, followed by myself, Kyle Knapp, Vince and Molly Egan, and The Prairie Gators, Cajun, Zydeco prairie dudes!  Poetry readings intermittently, Photography, Art works, and did I forget to mention, a wine tasting! Mark it on your calendars.
November 19th Saturday, 10am til 4pm center open, open jam session

The next day is  Benson Arts Festival Day. Saturday the 9th of July. Starts at noon. I'll be playing on the outdoor stage, around 1:30-- come and have a bite to eat, from the outdoor vendors or at one of Benson's fine restuarants. Check out the antique auto's, let the kids ride the rides, look at the work of renowned artists. Stick around to see Beth McBride, Vince Egan, and John Hargiss.

Friday May 6th, I'll be presenting a program of cowboy songs at the Western Trails Museum, South of the 24th street exit on I-80 east, Council Bluffs- Yes!!! a chance to wear my cowboy hat to a gig!!! I've been waiting for this!!! Come on out, there will be an indoor campfire, we'll make like we're out on the open praise. Hosted by Dick Zion.  I start at 6:30,

Saturday, May 21st--   Florence Pioneer Days 8700 north 30th street  at 3pm until ? I will take the stage (a flatbed trailer in the Kelley's North Bowl parking lot) with Mike Brock, Charlie Melia, and Harpman Tim; (and an undisclosed drummer) calling the band, Stone Heart...? back on home turf, for some rock and blues and country. If you have roots in North Omaha make sure to come- if you just like a parade and a small town carnival atmosphere- you come too!

I stop in on the occasional Thursday night at Trovato's, 50th and Underwood in Dundee. There is a jam session beginning at 9PM hosted by Earl Bates. I've been going to this jam session since 1976 when it was at the old Howard Street Tavern. Maybe I'll see you there. Bring your ukelele.
Come Summer you can often catch me on the corner of 11th and Howard, in Omaha's Old Market. I play some tunes sell a CD or two- get to meet some music lovers, and tourist's. "Throw some change in the guitar case, there buddy... yeah, I know Ring of Fire."
